Bear Butt

In the spirit of Silly Tuesday...
Oh, did you think I said "bare butt"? This is not technically a great shot, but it's my real live Yosemite bear. There was no one else around and we had him all to ourselves. I was so happy to see one even though he turned away, and even though he had been sitting in wet grass and mud. I guess I could have used one of my previous titles of "Does this fur make my butt look big?"
@Loner: Thanks, Sonja. I had been wanting to see one for days. We were off away from the valley, and there he was so I guess I should be happy with any shot at all. ;-)

HaHa Great shot. I know what you mean. I have taken lots of butt shots of animals myself. Still it's a natural shot. I like the way it is looking.

from a few weeks ago. Yes, this was the bear of my dreams, as I'd been saying everyday that my trip to Yosemite was not complete until I saw a bear. There he was, even if he did present his butt - and he was probably making a statement! ;-)))

@Lambspun: We saw one bear from a distance in the main valley area, but there was such a crowd that we didn't even try to get close. For this one, my husband and I were the only ones around. I got some good video before he turned away, but we were thrilled.
