Happy Holidays to you too. @klauSZ: Thank you! @Julie Brown: Thanks, Julie. That is one of my favorite shots of all the times we have hiked to that little lake. I was freezing, but it was worth it. ;-) @MARIANA: Thanks. @Judy aka L@dybug: Thanks. We had our white Christmas last year, so that's probably it for us unless we travel to Colorado or somewhere with snow like this shot. @DarkElf: Thanks, DarkElf. @Tracy: Thank you, Tracy! @MOHAMMAD: Thanks. @Marie: Thanks, Marie. @karla: Nymph is such a nice little hike, isn't it. Did you go on up to Dream and Emerald Lakes from there? We try to get up there every year. When I was still teaching we had to go mostly in the summers. The last 4 or 5 trips have been in the fall - October. Then the aspen are golden, the elk are rutting, and the weather can be anything from t-shirt days to snow and cold. We stay in different places, McGregor Mt. Lodge, Castle Mt., Streamside and Deer Crest are some favorites. They are not the most expensive or fancy, but they work for us. |
