What a difference a day makes. This is the same cabin in yesterday's shot, but one day later.

Fantastic and awesome. I notice some of the foreground leaves have given up and fallen over night. Good thinking of you to go back and take the same shot again! Just Lovely.

16 Oct 2009 10:55am

@MrsAmber: Thanks! As soon as I saw that it has snowed, I wanted to go back, but since we'd been wondering around on back roads, it took awhile to find it again the next day. What an adventure! ;-)

Pepe Villanueva Cabrera from Cuidad de Antipolo, Philippines

It's a winter wonderland! Makes me think of Christmas.

16 Oct 2009 12:34pm

@Pepe Villanueva Cabrera: Thanks so much. It does look like Christmas to me, but anything with snow does that! ;-)

The Big Guy from Regina, Canada

Gee Barbara, can't see much difference between Texas and Saskatchewan!!! The white brings out the colors more, nice shot.

16 Oct 2009 2:00pm

@The Big Guy: Thanks. Oh, you would see a HUGE difference between Texas and Saskatchewan if you have snow there now. After two weeks of rain the grass and trees here in north Texas are still green. I'm sad to say the photo was taken in Colorado, not Texas, and I wish I was there right now!!!

mmolinah from Girona, Spain

Winter is coming. Nice shot

16 Oct 2009 3:08pm

@mmolinah: At least it is coming to Colorado. Thanks.

k@ from Paris, France

@k@: Thanks so much!

Naama from Herut, Israel

I love that the white of the snow and the grey of the road, make this look as if it was b&w with touch of colors... sooooo beautiful!!!

16 Oct 2009 4:44pm

@Naama: Now that you mention it, it does look a little like a selective color shot. Glad you like it!!

Lorraine from Gatineau, Canada

A lovely winter scene with remnant of the glory of Autumn, how perfect, I gave you 10 stars (clicked twice lol)

16 Oct 2009 5:22pm

Scott F. Schilling from San Martin, United States

Awesome with the snow - I love it! The mix of warm fall leaves and snow and the cabin is perfect! Great work on this!

17 Oct 2009 5:28am

@Scott F. Schilling: Thank you Scott. I was SOOO tempted to trespass for a different angle, but then I was afraid it might be really cold in the Aspen jail. ;-))

Lambspun from Madison, Maine, United States

I heard they got snow. This photo is outstanding Barb....sharp and clear.
