A thousand horse and none to ride! -
With flowing tail, and flying mane,
Wide nostrils never stretched by pain,
Mouths bloodless to the bit or rein,
And feet that iron never shod,
And flanks unscarred by spur or rod,
A thousand horse, the wild, the free,
Like waves that follow o'er the sea,
Came thickly thundering on,...

The Big Guy from Regina, Canada

A show of strength in such a magnificent animal. When was this taken because I see a Sony rather than the D5000? I hope you haven't given up on the NIKON just yet?

4 Jan 2010 2:30pm

@The Big Guy: No, I don't think that will happen. ;-) Between holidays, a round of flu, no trips, or time to shoot, I just have not had much chance to work with the Nikon since I got it a few weeks ago. It's very different to work with so I'm mostly just taking junk shot as I explore settings, etc. then delete, delete, delete!! I did get a nice set of family Christmas shots, but don't think I'll be posting them, except on Shutterfly for the family. I still have a few from Montana (like this one) and some others that I plan to post for awhile as well. I may have to ask you my Nikon questions as I go along. ;-)
