Schwabacher Landing

Posted by
B. Thomas (Arlington, Texas, United States) on 12 September 2011 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

Schwabacher Landing in Grand Teton National Park, was formerly a common starting point for Snake River rafting trips, but the river channel has shifted westward, making access difficult. It is still a lovely place for a quiet morning walk and a few photos.

A beautiful landscape. At first I got a irritation, after reading the titel. Because that do not looks like the landscape around Schwabach near Nürnberg :-)

Very well made, this picture.

@Ralf Kesper: Thanks. I had to Google Schwabach, Germany to learn more about it! ;-)

@Ronnie 2¢: And then what would you do - paint? Or you could be lazy like me, and just set up a tripod and take a photo. ;-)) (or really lazy and even skip the tripod.)
