Chinese Lantern

Posted by
B. Thomas (Arlington, Texas, United States) on 24 March 2014 in Art & Design.

One of many displays at the Chinese Lantern Festival at Fair Park in Dallas.

Brilliant, glowing, artworks comprise 25 stunning displays in a kaleidoscope of color. Like stained glass in 3-D, each lantern set is made of hundreds and thousands of individual pieces.

Tell me, how large is this? I can't tell from the image, as beautiful as it is.

25 Mar 2014 12:38am

@Judy aka L@dybug: I almost wrote about that. It is very large. The sign in front is almost as tall as a person. I should have had someone in the shot for scale. All of the lantern were really big and impressive.

ARIKA from KYOTO, Japan
