Fox Crossing

Nacho Week
The gray fox is adaptable, usually more wary than fearful, and quite handsome. It may be difficult to appreciate the coloration of this fox until you see him for yourself. With a mostly gray back and reddish sides, he has a white throat with beautiful red markings. To top it off, the middle of the back is usually black and he sports a magnificent, long, bushy tail with a black tip.

If we are not around when Nacho drops by for a snack he will sometimes hop up on the stump and look in the window until we notice him and come out. How cool it that?!

Ah!! make his presence visible ? Does he call out ? Howl ?
You must be having a fabulous time with him...watching and clicking !!!

@Devi: They are usually very quiet around us. Sometime in the night, especially in the fall, we will hear them calling to each other in the woods. It sounds between a soft bark and a cough, like a dog with a cold. ;-)
