In Like A Lion, Out Like A Lamb

Posted by
B. Thomas (Arlington, Texas, United States) on 1 March 2018 in Miscellaneous.

“In like a lion, out like a lamb” has always seemed a straightforward enough proverb: when March starts, it’s still winter, and by the end of the month spring has begun. However in many climates the weather hasn’t quite reached the lamb stage by the end of the month.

Yes, we are supposed to be getting high winds for the next few days, so definitely in like a lion! Great visual.

Great capture for March 1st! Oh how I agree with your sentiments! I remember snow in April not too long ago. Thankfully, it lasted only a few days; but still plowable.
