Old Bank

Posted by
B. Thomas (Arlington, Texas, United States) on 7 October 2018 in Architecture.

The Victorian commercial structure on the northwest corner of the square in Granbury, Texas, was the original bank building, which was constructed in 1883 for a private bank and loan company owned by local businessmen John Traylor and D.C. Cogdell. There is now a shop in the bottom part of this historic building.

It certainly looks the part of a bank. Solid and stately! I'm glad they didn't tear it down.
