Our plan the day before was to drive up to Hurricane Ridge, 17 miles south of Port Angeles, but the road was closed due to heavy snow, 55 MPH winds, and white out conditions. Plan B was to try again the next day.
After breakfast we called and the road was open. At an elevation of 5,242 feet, Hurricane Ridge is a year-round destination for hiking, skiing, and snowboarding. It was sunny in Port Angeles when we started up but soon we were driving through cloud fog.
Wait...we were in the cloud? I wondered if that was where all my computer data was.
