We Found Bigfoot!

Posted by

In the spirit of Silly Tuesday...
It is certainly possible that there are some unusual creatures in the vast natural area that makes up Olympic National Park and the surrounding national forest. A group of researchers is convinced that Bigfoot, also known as Sasquatch, is a member of an as-yet undiscovered species that resides in these Pacific Northwest forests.

There are large creatures in these Pacific Northwest forests, to be sure. Most Bigfoot sightings are attributed to black bears, which occasionally stand upright and move on two legs. Believers suggest that Sasquatch is a member of a hominid or primate species that died off everywhere else in the world. Some point to the lore of local Native American tribes, which sometimes includes stories of Bigfoot-like creatures.

We did see a shadowy shape through the trees so we took a photo then hurried on down the trail in the rain with frequent glances behind us when we heard a twig snap. Bigfoot, is that you?
