Lake Crescent is a deep lake located entirely within Olympic National Park, Washington, about 17 miles west of Port Angeles, Washington. It is the starting point for several hikes, including Marymere Falls.
This lake is encircled by rolling, heavily forested hills with abundant plants and wildlife. After staying at what was then Singer’s Tavern (Now Lake Crescent Lodge), President Franklin D. Roosevelt decided to authorize the creation of the park.
