Canoe Dock

Lake Moraine, Banff National Park, canoe dock. Not many canoes were going out on this cool, cloudy September afternoon.

Starting near the canoe docks there is an fairly flat trail that works its way along the shoreline to the back of the lake. As the trail weaves in and out of the trees it offers glimpses of the water and mountains.

I am comfortable taking my camera out in a rowboat or a canoe (on calm water). NEVER on a kayak, though (well, never unless I bought a waterproof housing).
