The Lobby

I was impressed with the large mountain paintings at the check-in desks in the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada.

The Fairmont Hotel, the only hotel on the lake proper was both exceedingly gorgeous and correspondingly expensive. But with views like that, some people will pay whatever is asked. We did not stay there but still enjoyed being inside and out of the rain for awhile.
