**Thanks to Rose and Anita for identifying the plant yesterday growing right by Lake Texoma. I Googled and learned this about it: Buttonbush grows throughout most of Texas, but it is confined to waterways and lakes or swamps.
Caladiums have big, heart-shaped leaves that display amazing color combinations of white, pink, red and green. The plants love hot, humid weather and grow best in full to partial shade.
*My little pocket camera DC-TS6 had a crack on the screen so I finally replaced it. That model was no longer available so I went with an upgrade - Panasonic DC-TS7. This was one of the first test shots. My Nikon is still my main camera.
