Independence Day is a federal holiday in the United States usually simply called July 4th or fourth of July. It is a celebration commemorating the Declaration of Independence of the United States, on July 4, 1776, usually celebrated with fireworks, parades, barbecues, family reunions, concerts, picnics, or baseball games.
