Lift Off!

I can't imagine how this many geese can fly so close together with out crashing into each other. (Sort of reminds me of the traffic here in my Dallas/Ft.Worth area.)

Wow, I have seen birds lift off on a big groups but never this big. I wish AM3 had option to present sounds with the pics, 'cause I assume the sound of this lift off is quite amazing.

Not quite a silent departure. Yesterday I told about the Ruissalo geese. Sometimes when a large swarm is swirling overhead, the prospect of being "bombed" is exciting.
